Schedule to the Calendar

While we post to your social accounts twice a day, five days a week, sometimes you may want to supplement our posts with your own. This step-by-step guide explains how you can schedule your own content using the Social Media Manager calendar.

  1. On the left side of your Dashboard, click on Calendar underneath the Publish section to get to the Social Media Manager calendar.

  3. Click on a piece of content, drag it over to the calendar, and release it on the day you'd like to post it to.
  4. If you want to schedule from scratch, simply click on a day or time on the calendar and a window will pop-up where you can schedule content. Click the Schedule button at the bottom of the pop-up to schedule your content.

There are three different views on the calendar: monthly, weekly, and daily. Each have their own benefits and limitations, but all are useful! Let's explore each view.

Monthly

This view is best used as a macro view of the content you have scheduled to go out.

Upon dropping a piece of content, your post will schedule at the statistically best time to post, based on past post performance data.

You can drag to change the day of posting, but you cannot drag content to change the time of your post.

Weekly

This view is a good middle ground, where you can see a week's worth of content and have a bit more capability than the monthly view.

When dropping a piece of content onto the calendar, you have the option to schedule in 30-minute intervals. To change the time of a post, simply drag your content through 30-minute intervals from when you originally scheduled the post to go out.

You can still drag content to a different day to reschedule it.

Daily

This view allows you to see content on a micro level, where your capabilities remain limited to the specific day you are looking at. The daily view's capabilities are very similar to that of the weekly view's.

You can drop content in the same 30-minute intervals as the weekly view, and reschedule by dragging through 30-minute intervals.

The main difference between this view and weekly view is you cannot change the day of posting.
